
Amanda Louise Holden, born 16 February 1971 is an English media personality and actress. She has been judge on Britain's Got Talent, an ITV talent competition since 2007. In the weekday mornings, she co-hosts Heart Breakfast radio with Jamie Theakston. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent most of her childhood in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she joined Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden was also in TV in three series of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She was also participant in three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" which starred Geraldine McEwan and John Hannah. He co-starred with Bill Nighy (and Tom Courtenay) in Ready When You Are Mr. McGill, Jack Rosenthal's comedy drama.
