Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri dixit known as an Indian actress, is best known for her roles as Beta, Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun ..!'. She started her career in 1980s and became famous for her role in the movie "Tezaab" which she was a co-star with Anil Kapoor, a veteran actor. Next, she appeared in the film "Dil" in which she shared the screen space alongside Aamir Khan. She was raised in Mumbai by a middle-class family. When she was a teenager she began to learn dance. She started acting when she was young and struggled for several years as most of her initial films were failures. The actress eventually made it to the top and became one of the top actors in Indian film. After her wedding was over, she took a break but went back to the entertainment industry. She also played a major part in the film "Gulaab Gang," that focused on the challenges faced by Indian women. Dixit was nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards. She won eight. She was also awarded the Padma Shri (the fourth highest civilian award in India). She is well-known for her social work and also for her charitable work.
