Hossack was born in Steinbach, Manitoba Canada. Her family lived living in Killarney Manitoba and took part in musical theatre performances as a student. As she began the process of completing her Brandon University education, she was a piano major. Her focus changed to voice. Following her graduation her studies, she claimed she would like to be an actor and had no interest in acting. She studied fine arts at Banff School of Fine Arts after graduating Brandon. Hossack After completing her college studies, performed on stage in Ontario as well as Winnipeg. Other World (from 1989 to 1992), Cobra (from 1993-1992), Hope Island, (1999) as well as Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital (2003). She starred in 2006 in the role of Falcon Beach for Canadian TV.
