Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in 1980. Her birthplace was Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Her ancestry is Polish (mother) and German, English, Irish, and Scottish (father). Kristen's talents for performing were discovered at a very young age. She was just 12 when she attended her first audition and won an appearance in Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell was accepted by her mother to become an agent when she was just thirteen years old. She was then selected for newspapers ads as well as TV commercials. In the same year, she also began training in private acting. Bell played an uncredited character in the movie Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in both the music and drama club. She was the star of Dorothy at her school's play The Wizard of Oz. Bell was a student of musical theatre at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. The year 2001 was the time Bell left university to play the role as Becky in Tom Sawyer. The same year she appeared in Pootie Tang however, the scene in which Bell appeared was cut. This meant that only her credit sequence exists. Bell appeared featured in the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
