Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26th, 1978) was born in Campinas, Sao Paulo. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are the most well-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime by March 2020. She is currently an analyst and team leader for GI-TOC collaboration with multilateral partners. She is primarily interested in the illicit economics, assassinations and disappearances. Her research interests are in the impact of organized crime on the law, policies and legislation that pertain to human rights. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with distinction on International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She holds an LL.M. degree with a concentration in Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula earned a magnacum laude Bachelor's degree in Legal as well as Social Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The experience she has gained as a lawyer includes four years of practice with a firm that is specialized in the area of public law litigation. Her past experiences also included working with roles in non-governmental organizations that are headquartered at Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
