Yvonne De Carlo (September 1 1922 - January 8, 2007) was an eminent Canadian American actress in TV and film. Through her career of six decades the films she appeared in were the most well-known in the early 1950s. She played her most prominent roles in movies like Anna Marie in Salome where She Danced Anna as the wife of Moses (Charlton Heston) in The Ten Commandments and Amantha in Band of Angels starring Clark Gable. De Carlo was offered the character of Lily Munster in the CBS television series The Munsters, alongside Fred Gwynne and Al Lewis.
